Members of various neo-Nazi and white nationalist groups have been participating in combat training events at a compound in Lynchburg, Virginia, according to social media posts and group communications.

The gatherings have involved participants from so-called "active clubs" from Texas, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania traveling to the Virginia location for joint training exercises. The compound is operated by the Wolves of Vinland, which has been classified as a neopagan white nationalist organization by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Documentation shows that attendees have included members of Patriot Front, identified as a white supremacist group, and the Hammerskins, described as a neo-Nazi skinhead organization. Social media posts indicate these events have been characterized as riot-style combat training.

Among those participating were individuals with backgrounds in education and law enforcement, including at least one licensed school teacher and a former police officer. The training events appear to be part of coordinated activities between multiple white nationalist organizations.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups and extremist activities, has expressed concerns about the public safety implications of such gatherings. The organization tracks various white nationalist and neo-Nazi groups across the United States as part of its civil rights monitoring work.
