Virgin Galactic Resumes Space Tourism Sales at $750,000 Per Seat
Virgin Galactic has resumed selling suborbital space flight tickets at $750,000 each, marking a $150,000 increase from previous pricing.

Virgin Galactic has resumed sales of commercial space tourism flights, pricing tickets at $750,000 per seat, representing a 25% increase from the company's previous rate of $600,000.
The space tourism company currently has more than 675 customers on its waiting list for suborbital flights. These flights offer passengers a brief experience of weightlessness and views of Earth from the edge of space before returning to the surface.
The price increase comes as the commercial space industry continues to develop, with Virgin Galactic positioning itself in the emerging space tourism market alongside competitors like Blue Origin and SpaceX.
Virgin Galactic's suborbital flights take passengers to an altitude of approximately 50 miles above Earth, crossing the boundary that many consider the edge of space. The experience includes several minutes of weightlessness and panoramic views of the planet below.
The company has been working to scale its operations and establish a regular flight schedule for paying customers after years of development and testing of its space tourism platform.
