Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson is launching a new book imprint called Tucker Carlson Books, which will operate under the established publisher Skyhorse Publishing. The venture aims to publish books by controversial figures including Russell Brand and commentator Milo Yiannopoulos.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Carlson stated that the publishing house is "looking for books that nobody else will publish." He expressed his view that most people no longer read books due to being absorbed in other available media formats.

Carlson noted that those who do continue reading books "tend to be disproportionately influential in policy conversations and conversations about ideas," suggesting he sees books as maintaining significant influence despite declining readership.

Skyhorse Publishing, the parent company for the new imprint, is a New York-based independent publisher that has previously published works across various genres and by authors spanning the political spectrum. The partnership allows Carlson to enter the publishing industry following his departure from Fox News.
