A reporter for Turning Point USA was assaulted while covering an anti-ICE protest in Minneapolis, according to the journalist and video footage of the incident.

Savanah Hernandez, who works as a correspondent for Frontlines TPUSA, was reporting on the demonstration taking place outside the Whipple Federal Building when she was physically attacked by protesters.

According to Hernandez, she had been covering the protest for nearly an hour without incident before being identified by participants. "I was there for almost an hour, untouched, and then one of the left-wingers identified me and a mob started forming," Hernandez said.

Video footage appears to show Hernandez being punched and shoved to the ground during the confrontation with protesters. The incident occurred as demonstrators had gathered to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement policies.
