IONNA Charging Network Expands to 350+ Circle K Locations
Electric vehicle charging company IONNA will install fast chargers at more than 350 Circle K convenience stores nationwide.

IONNA, an electric vehicle charging network backed by major automakers, announced plans to install charging stations at more than 350 Circle K convenience store locations across the United States.
The charging stations will feature 400-kilowatt DC fast chargers equipped with both NACS (North American Charging Standard) and CCS (Combined Charging System) connectors, allowing compatibility with a wide range of electric vehicles from different manufacturers.
The partnership represents a significant expansion of IONNA's charging infrastructure, leveraging Circle K's extensive retail footprint to provide convenient charging access for EV drivers. Circle K operates thousands of convenience stores across North America, making it an attractive partner for charging network deployment.
The high-powered 400 kW chargers are designed to significantly reduce charging times compared to lower-powered alternatives, addressing one of the key concerns among potential electric vehicle buyers about charging convenience and speed.
IONNA was formed as a joint venture by several major automakers to build out charging infrastructure and support the broader adoption of electric vehicles. The company's focus on high-power charging stations with multiple connector types reflects the industry's efforts to standardize and improve the EV charging experience.
