Brazilian energy companies Omnia and Casa dos Ventos have entered into a $2 billion energy supply agreement to support TikTok data center operations in Brazil, according to Reuters reporting.

The partnership will provide renewable energy capacity to power TikTok's data processing and storage facilities in the country.

Omnia and Casa dos Ventos, both Brazilian energy companies, will collaborate to deliver the substantial power requirements needed for data center operations. Casa dos Ventos specializes in renewable energy projects, particularly wind power generation.

The agreement comes as technology companies increasingly seek dedicated energy partnerships to ensure reliable power supply for their data-intensive operations.
