Starlink has raised prices across its satellite internet service plans in the United States, marking another price increase for the SpaceX-owned satellite internet provider.

The company's cheapest residential plan, offering 100 Mbps speeds, increased from $50 to $55 per month. The 200 Mbps residential plan jumped from $80 to $85 monthly, while the Residential Max plan also saw a $5 increase. The price adjustments also affected Starlink's Standby Mode service.

The price increases come as SpaceX continues to expand its satellite internet constellation and service offerings. Starlink has been rolling out its satellite internet service globally, targeting underserved areas where traditional broadband infrastructure is limited or unavailable.

The timing of the price adjustments follows ongoing developments in the satellite internet market, where multiple companies are competing to provide broadband access through low Earth orbit satellite networks. AST SpaceMobile, another player in the space-based communications sector, recently indicated its service could reach all Americans.

Starlink's price changes reflect the ongoing costs associated with maintaining and expanding satellite internet infrastructure, including launching new satellites and maintaining ground operations to support the growing customer base.
